The Board of Jabiru Kabolkmakmen Ltd (JKL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Kelly Ralston as its Chief Executive Officer with effect from 3 May 2022.

Kelly joins us having held a range of senior executive roles at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and brings a wealth of experience in international business and economic development. She has a proven track record providing leadership over many years in complex business environments, within Australia and internationally. Kelly has represented Australia in many business settings, and will bring to JKL her deep experience in investment attraction, marketing Australia’s unique advantages and business development.

Kelly is passionate about building partnerships across the public and private sector to identify and deliver on opportunities and most recently, led Austrade’s efforts, together with State and Territory governments and industry stakeholders to support the tourism sector through the challenges of the 2020 bushfires and Covid19. She also played a key role in the early development of the Australian Government’s THRIVE 2030 strategy for the visitor economy, which includes strategies to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture into Australia’s tourism future.

We are very fortunate to appoint Kelly as our new CEO. She is a seasoned executive and will bring great expertise and experience to the JKL team, and under her leadership we can be assured that JKL will continue to build the momentum in implementing the Jabiru Masterplan.

Kelly will move to Jabiru in late May, and I hope you will join with us in providing her with a very warm welcome.
